Purple Loosestrife as an Ornamental Video

Roger Batt notes that the Purple Loosestrife plant is a native of Europe and Asia and it was brought into the United States in the late 1800's, probably as an ornamental plant. And, you can see why, because of its beauty. He continues by saying that now we have a problem because ornamental plants such as this can be purchased in nurseries and also on the Internet illegally. Roger notes that the Idaho Noxious Weed law states that it is illegal to purchase noxious weeds, or to spread seeds or plants from one area to another within the state. He concludes that people really need to be cautious about what they are doing when they purchase plants.
