Art Talsma with the Nature Conservancy describes this Yellow Starthistle control site in the Coral Creek area above Hells Canyon.
"In the background is a permanent long term vegetation site, established a number of years ago. This has had no chemical treatment, the biological controls got here by moving from other release locations. Even at this site you can begin to see how the transition from Yellow Starthistle to good bunch grasses takes place at this elevation. So it makes a good place to interpret the work we are doing with Yellow Starthistle control. We are going to establish a long term photo point here as well and we are going to analyze for the abundance of biocontrols already on the site. This makes it our "control" biocontrol site."
Note that there are several video "hot spots" available which provide a lot more detailed information.
