Bill Hargrave with Kootenai County Noxious Weed Control and Nina Eckberg, Superintendent of Kootenai County Noxious Weeds, are standing in an old farmhouse yard near Hayden, Idaho that has been infested with Orange Hawkweed. Bill notes that this was probably a 20 to 40 acre farm that is now going into a commercial development. This property has probably not been vacant for more than 7 to 8 months, but this Hawkweed is taking over because no one has cut it or tended this property.
